Easter Egg Hunt and Meet the Easter Bunny

Newburg Volunteer Rescue Squad & Fire Department

Saturday April 19th, 2014 from 12pm-4pm

Easter Egg Hunt will start at 2pm

Age Groups will be broken into 1-3 (with Adult assistance), 4-6 and 7-10

Pictures can be taken with the Easter Bunny for a donation

Food and baked goods will be sold

There will also be raffles and other activities!

Mid-Atlantic Fireworks Festival

The River View Grange, together with the Wicomico Valley Foundation of Southern MD is hosting a Mid-Atlantic Fireworks Festival. The event will be held on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 with gates opening at 5PM, and it is located at 10705 Allens Fresh Road, charlotta Hall MD. Parking is $10 per vehicle. Busy day for Newburg Volunteers

Firefighter Michael Ivie, February 13

On Feb 13, 2014 all of Southern Maryland was hit by a winter storm. At approx. 16:36 hrs, Station 14 was alerted for an MVA with one person trapped. Engine 143 arrived on scene and confirmed one patient trapped and wires down and involved. Engine 143 had the Budds Creek Rd Command until the arrival of Chief 10. Santa's Workshop

Firefighter/EMT Andrew Spalding, December 23

On Sunday December 22nd from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Santa visited the Newburg Vol. Rescue Squad and Fire Department for a Santa's Workshop! Children got to enjoy several free activities such as coloring, making popsicle stick snowman ornaments, decorating cinnamon ornaments, snacks with Santa and writing letters to Santa! For a small donation, children could also have their picture taken with Santa!
